General information

Flying school, is a structural subdivision of an aviation company. The school was established to provide services for training and retraining of pilots and flight personnel.

Aerodrome

Today, the flying school is our base aerodrome for training flights. These airfields are paved with concrete, and allow year-round flights. The size of airfields’ flying field is 2500 x 60 meters.

At the airfield, we have a large hangar measuring 50 x 25 meters, which allows to place a large number of aircraft inside. This hangar is used both for storage of aircraft, and for their maintenance. Our school also has an administrative building next to the hangar, which makes it possible to give pre-flight and post-flight briefings in comfort.

Air Fleet

Our air fleet is represented by two Cessna 172M planes. This aircraft type is an all-metal, four-seat, high-plane trailing arm of a classical design. The aircrafts are equipped with a Lycoming O-320 engine, with a maximum power of 150 hp. The aircrafts are approved for automotive gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 98 (research method of determination), which complies with the EN 228 standard. More details about our fleet can be found here.

We also have a twin-engine Piper PA34-200T Seneca II in our fleet. It is equipped with two 200 HP Continental TSIO – 360 piston engines. This aircraft is used for multi-motor retraining.

Instructor staff

Instructor staff consists of qualified instructors with wide experience in theoretical disciplines and pilot training. From the side of the training center management the quality of teaching and flight instruction of cadets is constantly monitored by the instructor staff. Also our training center constantly conducts professional development of our instructors using both facilities of our training center and other aviation training centers.

Operating Principles

In its work our pilot school is guided by advanced developments in the field of training flight personnel. We are guided by standards, including all our guidelines and training courses comply with the requirements of regulation 1178/2011, which sets out the technical conditions and administrative procedures for flight crews in civil aviation.

The basic principles laid down in the aforementioned regulation are from simple to complex and full quality control of training at all stages of training. These are the principles our flight school adheres to. We do not promise to make a pilot out of you in the shortest possible time, but we promise to do our best.

In addition to these principles and standards of training, our company is trying to be as open as possible to our future cadets. To this end, we have decided to lift the curtain “school kitchen” and publish a training manual, on the basis of which and training in our school (as far as directly relates to the cadets). This document has been coordinated and approved by the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and is basic to our school in matters relating to cadet training procedures. Read this document on this link.
